Tripwire - draw a line accross the scene and the camera will alert the recorder when something has crossed it based on people detection.
Intrusion - define a region in the scene and the camera will alert the recorder when something is moving in that area based on people detection.
Video Exception - be alerted when the camera is moved, tilted, out of focus or obscured.

These events are easily searchable directly via the recorder GUI, smartphone app, web browser and CMS software. This saves valuable time finding important footage.
